Kerala Parasurama temple Journey

Hello Every one

   Last year I visited Kerala Parasurama Temple for rid of Pitru Dosha (nivarana of Pitru karma). As per my astrologer advised me to go and do Balitharpanam & Thila homam.

Thiruvallam Parasurama Temple is One famous temples of Parasurama Temple. This temple is near by 6 or 8 km distrance from Trivandrum (Thiruvanthapuram).

So I planned my trip with "SABARI EXP" from Hyderabad to Thiruvanthapuram(Trivandrum) which is capital city of Kerala, The train tickets fair is Rs: 610 for sleeper class per person. we booked that train tickets, but train always rush, you need to book at least 1 month before.

The journey was taking 30 hours approximately so planned your food as per that, but train cleaning is very good, while I board my train at  afternoon 12 p.m clock at secunderabad station while I reached at Thiruvanthapuram(Trivandrum) next day evening at 6 pm.

Finally we reached our destination Thiruvanthapuram, we get out from train. Infront of the station autos are in queue, we can go to the counter, inform our name and which place we want go, then enter all into register, assign one auto driver( security purpose), informed also the fare also on the spot. So we gave Rs 40 from railway station to Ananatha Padmanabha swamy temple.

As per google maps we assumed Padmanabha swamy temple to Parsurama Temple near 3 kms away. So we Planned our Boarding there, another reason for that Padmanabha swamy temple near security is high, we are new members to the state and language, so we selected that place for our boarding

Near Padmanbha swamy temple we boarded at One andhra Lodge (VENNEAL   Hotel) which low cost budget with minimum facilities (no hotwater & no mineral water) but room rent per day for 3 occupants is Rs: 300 rupees, advance payment is 1000 it will refundable while at check out. ****Proof of Identification(Voter Id, Adhar Card xerox) is mandatory while room allotment.****

We  stayed at the lodge on the night, next day morning we visited Anantha Padmanbha Swamy temple, in food  mostly rice is not available if available also curries are not good & costly. so we can adjusted with snack items only. (preferred I liked Idiyappam making with rice semiya with low cost).

Only Amavasya and pournmi the Bali tarpanam and Thila abishekam poojs are doing in Parsurama Temple, so we went before Amavasya for booking tickets in advance, Padmanbha swamy temple opposite bus stop is there, within 12 rupees they are drop at parusurama temple, so we taken tickets & gave money for Pooja items (inside of the temple)

***in Advance tickets not mandatory, in Amavasya lot members in tickets counter, So big queue***

Balithanapam (only doing in Amavasaya and pournami days) with prasadam - 300 rupees ticket fare

Tila abishekam (all working days) - 250 rupees ticket fare

For Pooja item (200 rupees) - (lot of items, unable to specify)

In Amavasya morning 5:00 a.m to the pooja starts (balithranapam)  & every 2:30 hours the pooja will start again upto 12.00 p.m. {but lot of members will come on particular these days, so big rush and also there is no queue in that who will give first token half ticket to poojari he will call as per that}

As per our luck one of poojari knows "TELUGU , ENGLISH",  he helped  a lot while doing pooja
